LOMO Smena-8m Soviet 35mm Film Camera Kit

$54.99

The perfect kit for anybody starting out with film! Easy multiple exposure effects! Sharp, coated lens! Includes everything you need to get started shooting with a fully-manual Soviet camera.

These are extremely fun & interesting cameras to shoot. They are completely manual and designed to be as simple & functional as possible.

Industar lenses from the USSR are popular with 35mm film photographers who appreciate their soft, swirly bokeh & sturdy, metal construction.

There are two camera options:

1. The Smena-8m manual focus viewfinder camera. This was an extremely popular camera in the 70s and 80s manufactured at the LOMO factory in Leningrad. LOMO designed the Smena to make photography available to all, so it's very lightweight, straightforward, and easy to use. If you want to start shooting film with a simple, manual camera, look no further.

The Smena's coated 40mm f4 lens is excellent for color print film. The contrasty, richly-saturated photos this camera produces have long made it popular with Lomography fans, and stopped down, it's capable of producing very sharp images. The Smena-8m is a fully-manual, scale-focusing camera, so you can really enjoy the process of creating an image. This camera is easy to focus; just look at the guide on the lens.

Kit includes:

1 Smena-8m

2 rolls Kodak Gold 100 film

1 roll Fomapan 100 film

Note: The Smena-8m has no built-in light meter. All cameras include my brief, model-specific quick-start instructions & a printed exposure guide.

Due to supply constraints, these may take longer to arrive.
